The main idea of this new feature is to keep the user intact with the platform while still being able to discover products through dynamic ads and purchase the same within the Facebook app.

Facebook is mainly trying to create an extremely efficient process for users to make online buying simple and seamless. In-app checkout feature was already live within Instagram for select advertisers in the US region, and now with the same feature made live on Facebook, clearly the company’s efforts are towards expanding in-app purchasing capabilities for its user-base. Simultaneously, this will also provide more advertisers to build a flawless user-friendly shopping experience on the Facebook family-apps platforms.
