Finding out Negative Keyword Conflict on the Microsoft Shopping campaigns is now easy as the platform launched the "Negative Keyword Conflict Report".

Microsoft Advertising

Keywords and Negative Keywords are the main pillars of any search campaigns for managing the accounts in an effective manner. So, it is always very important for the advertisers to have proper sync between the keywords and negative keywords that he/she is keeping in the account. And there should be no conflict of negative keywords in the account which can straightaway affect the account performance.

In order to ease out the advertisers’ job, Microsoft Advertising has come up with a new report under the report section called “Negative Keyword Conflict Report” for the Shopping campaigns. The advertisers can access the report at any point of time to gauge if there is any negative keyword conflict happening in the Shopping campaigns.

Negative Keyword Conflict Report

One can find the new report under the Product ads section under the reports tab. The image above will help us understand the default columns which are selected for the report. The new “Conflict Level” column will show whether the conflict is at the account level, or at the campaign or ad group level. As expected, the advertiser has the option of adding or removing any particular column depending on his/her data requirement.

Like the other reports, for this one also, the report will be available at the report history tab from where it can be run on a periodical basis.

Microsoft advertising platform was already having the same functionality for the search campaigns and now this being added to the Shopping campaigns will be a big help to the advertisers who are running shopping campaigns for a large catalog.

With this report is now available, the advertisers need not to worry while adding a new range of products about whether any of these products were added as negatives before as they can simply run the report and figure out the same.
